monday - thursday 10:00am - 4:00pm occasionally iam is closed for holidays or training so calling ahead is recommended but not necessary. information about what to bring to an interview, depending on what help is needed, is available on the website or by telephone.iam is a volunteer-driven organization. there is 11 paid staff; only four are full-time. in 2012, 279 volunteers donated over 41,000 hours of their time to work in all areas of operation. information on volunteer opportunities is available on the website or by calling iam.donations: food may be brought to iam, at 210 ehringhaus street & third avenue west monday-friday9:00 am to 3:30 pm you can arrange for iam to pick up large donations of food by calling the pantry. ext. 337. contributions of funds to be used to purchase supplementary foods may be sent to: iam, po box 2562 hendersonville, nc 28793. please indicate "food pantry" in the memo line of your check. iam is a 501 ( c ) (3) nonprofit organization and your donations are tax-deductible.for more information,  please call and dial 1131
