hoursthursday 9:00am - 11:30amcatholic charities has three food pantries across the diocese of charlotte, in asheville, charlotte and winston-salem. each food pantry provides walk-in assistance on a first-come, first-served basis during normal operating hours.the pantries operate on a client-choice model, through the principle of providing food with dignity. clients select food they would like from a list of items in stock. every pantry relies heavily on the work of volunteers to stock and distribute groceries on a weekly basis.first time clients complete a one-page application with basic demographic and household member information. due to the overwhelming needs, we can only serve clients once a month.for more information, please call.
