We are associated with the Food Bank of Central and Eastern North Carolina and operate within the guidelines of that organization. Our goal is to provide a 3-day supply of food for each member of the household. We are serving approximately 300 individuals per month. We purchase deeply-discounted food items from the Food Bank which are donated by area grocers and other food drive events. Shoreline Food Pantry is funded by the generous donations of the members of the church and area businesses. Individuals and businesses also donate food and other items that are not available from the Food Bank and these are greatly appreciated by the people we serve.

Food is shared with love and respect to those who come for assistance. It is our intention that they receive not only food for their physical hunger, but generous portions of kindness and grace to feed and cover their spiritual and emotional hungers. We believe the words of Jesus, in that this is one way we can respond directly to God’s love for us: “For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in” Matthew 25:35 With this in mind we have a food pantry every second and fourth Monday of each month, from 4:00p.m. – 6:00p.m. If you or someone you know is struggling financially, do not hesitate to contact us by phone at 910-477-6161 or to visit our food pantry in our active hours.
