CPO is a program of Catholic Charities, which is a 501c3 non-profit organization. We serve any resident of Wake, Johnston, or Franklin County who is referred to us in writing by an agency (such as the Department of Social Services), church (any denomination), community, or public service organization, based on need, not religion. Clients are referred to CPO by human service agencies, churches, medical providers, and school counselors who see first hand those who struggle in our community. Clients can receive groceries for their family, clothing (children’s up to age 4 & maternity), and baby items, at most once every 30 days.

Case Management appointments are typically scheduled on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The food pantry is located at Haven House\’s Outreach Center (the sign says “second round outreach center” out front). We are located across the street from the Mordecai Historic Park. The food pantry itself is open to youth ages 17-23 who have come into our center and completed an intake. Intakes are currently available on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 1:00-4:00 and the only thing needed is a government-issued ID. We also offer other basic needs such as clothes, hygiene bags, contraception, laundry and showers. Life Skills classes are offered several times a month and include a dinner before hand for our youth.
