Each food pantry provides walk-in assistance on a first-come, first-served basis during normal operating hours. The pantries operate on a client-choice model, through the principle of providing food with dignity. Clients select food they would like from a list of items in stock. Every pantry relies heavily on the work of volunteers to stock and distribute groceries on a weekly basis. First time clients complete a one-page application with basic demographic and household member information. Due to the overwhelming needs, we can only serve clients once a month. Charlotte: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 8 – 10 a.m.

We will ask you to sign a brief, simple declaration of need, something like this: “I understand that the Charlotte Calvary Church of the Nazarene food pantry exists to provide food assistance to those who really need help.
